Marche region is renowned for its flavored and tasteful cuisine. The territory reflects a very different environment which ranges form the mountain chains Appennini to the Adriatic Sea coast. Such variety strongly contributed through the centuries to develop traditional regional recipes based on different ingredients: from the use of fish (as in brodetto and stoccafisso all’anconitana) to on the other hand ingredients like mushrooms, truffle and fowl. Many of these recipes date back to the traditional life of farmers and are nowadays widely affirmed and appreciated by a great number of both Italian and foreign tourists.
