The Marche region is renowned for its tasteful cuisine. The territory reflects a varied environment which goes form the mountain chains of the Appennini to the Adriatic Sea coast. Such geographical variey has always contributed to develop traditional regional recipes based on various ingredients including: fish (as in brodetto and stoccafisso all’anconitana), mushrooms, truffle and fowl. Many of these recipes date back to the times of traditional farmers and are nowadays very famous and much appreciated by a both Italian and foreign tourists.
In the links section you can further investigate some of the most particular ingredients and food specialties that we usually recommend to our students.
